A little about us

At Firtree Pet Cremation, we are a husband-and-wife team dedicated to providing your beloved pet with the individual care and attention they deserve when the time comes.

With years of experience in the pet cremation industry and a deep love for animals, we understand that pets are more than companions—they're family. As proud parents of two dogs, a cat, and two young children, we often say we have five kids, because that’s exactly what our pets are—our babies.

When it’s time to say goodbye, you can trust us to handle your pet with the utmost care and respect. We offer a private and comforting farewell experience in our “Sleep Tight” room, available by appointment only, ensuring a peaceful moment without interruption from other grieving families. If preferred, we can also arrange collection from your home or veterinary clinic.

Classic Package

You can have complete peace of mind knowing that the ashes you receive will be solely those of your beloved pet. They will be returned to you in our Classic Package, ensuring they are safe and cared for with the utmost respect. However, if you have a special request, please let us know—we will do everything we can to accommodate your wishes and create a meaningful tribute.

Farewell Forest

If you prefer, we also offer the option to have your pet’s ashes scattered in our Farewell Forest. Here, you can tie a ribbon and a farewell tag on our Wish Trees as a heartfelt way to say goodbye. This service is completely free because we believe every pet deserves a beautiful farewell.

This is Fire in the photo - at the Invictus Games. Fire was a soldier who served in Afghanistan with his soldier human dad - When his call was over he came home to live his days out with his soldier dad and was loved. When Fire finally went to rainbow bridge, Peter had the honour of helping him cross. Returning his ashe along with the shrapnel and bullets to his soldier dad. How brave and loyal our animal friends are.

About our individual cremation service

The price includes returning the ashes in an elegant keepsake pouch and box. Home collection and return services are also available upon request. (Subject to additional fees dependent on distance)

Create a personalised tribute on our remembrance page, where you can share photos and messages about your beloved pet. We also offer unique keepsakes so your pet can always be with you. These items are handmade by our team, and we can make small jewellery items and keyrings in many colours and shapes. Please don't worry about asking us. They are affordable. We started to offer this service after Amanda's husband, Peter, our founder, died. She was looking at getting an item of ash jewellery with some of Peter's ashes in it to send with their daughter to university so that she would always have some of her dad's ashes with her; whilst looking for this, she discovered the prices were outrageous. So she looked at courses to make her a little silver remembrance locket, which has gone to university, sat exams and is now at a different university with her, "always watching over her".
